T.R.O.O.P.S. (Training Reintegration Outreach & Opportunities Program Services) 


T.R.O.O.P.S.  is a Veteran specific career development and employment services program offered by Mary Hall Freedom House.  


T.R.O.O.P.S.   is exclusively designed to address and meet the employment needs of our  country's military Veterans and Veterans with families who are at risk  of, or currently experiencing homelessness.  Through employment-focus initiatives, T.R.O.O.P.S.  provides the platform to meet Veteran integration needs through five core program areas:


  • Assessment & Orientation
  • Career Development
  • Employment Opportunities
  • Ongoing Case Management

 Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA)


Covenant CNA School is an eligible provider for the  Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program with the state  of Georgia.  


The  Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act is a federal grant that  covers training expenses for individuals who have been laid off from  employment, or whose household income is at or below the federal poverty  level.  In addition WIOA   provides  funding to  economically disadvantaged adults, at-risk youth, and dislocated workers  seeking training to increase or enhance skill levels to gain employment. 


To apply for the WIOA grant, contact the One-Stop Workforce  Center for the county in which you reside, or the county where you  worked when you were laid off from employment. MYCAA- Military Spouse Career Advancement Account


MyCAA  - Military Spouse Career Advancement Account The Department of Defense  has a new financial assistance program that offers up to $4,000 to  military spouses who  are  interested  in  pursuing  continuing   education  (including  certificate  and  online  courses), degree  programs, licenses, or credentials leading to careers in high growth,  high demand, and portable career fields. Spouses of active duty and  activated National Guard and Reserve Service members are  eligible for MyCAA.


Military  spouses  who  are  military   members themselves  are  not  eligible  for  MyCAA,  but  may  be   eligible  for military education benefits.


To get started, visit https://Aiportalaccaf.mil/mycaa  create a MyCAA Account Once  a profile is created, the Department  of  Defense  will  provide   notification  of  eligibility  status  through  the  MyCAA  messaging   system.
