Nursing Assistant

Covenant  C.N.A. School CNA program prepares individuals with the information and  the experience needed to become a Nurse Assistant 

who  will provide quality care for residents in long-term care facilities,  hospitals, home health care and hospice settings. 

Clinical rotations are  at premier long care nursing

facility in Atlanta and the metro areas.


Some areas covered:


  •  Disease and infection control
  •  How to take vital signs 
  •  Range of motion exercises 
  • Communication and teamwork
  • Provide care for the basic physical and emotional needs of patients


Tutorial for the Nursing Assistant Competency State

 Examination is for:
 

A. Individuals who previously took the State Exam

 but did not pass the Skills Exam.
 

B. Individuals who feel comfortable taking the Written Exam

 but need assistance preparing for the Skills Exam.


C. Individuals who have taken a course long ago and need to

 "brush up" on skills before taking the State Exam.


Advance Clinical Rotation


Advance Clinical Rotation is a opportunity to experience  a

Certified Nursing Assistant Externship and to work in a dynamic and 

supportive clinical  environment.  You will work side-by-side with 

highly skilled preceptors who will facilitate the learning experience.  

understanding of  organizational Externships are held at

prestigious hospitals in Atlanta and the metro area.


Medicine Aide

 Our  program prepares Certified Nurse Aides to administer routine  medications to to residents in Assisted Living facilities, Personal Care  Homes, intermediate care facilities and other non-hospital  environments.
 

Bilingual (English / Spanish) Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Classes


If your first language is not English or if you are fluent in two languages, Covenant CNA School offers a bilingual CNA program.

Covenant  CNA School Bilingual Program provides comprehensive theory and clinical  in nursing homes. Upon successful completion of our program, you will  be eligible to take the state of Georgia Competency Certification 

Examination written exam in either English or Spanish.


The skills  section of the examination is giving in English only.

The  Bilingual C.N.A. Program grew out of two fundamental demographic trends  affecting Georgia. First is the rapid growth in the population of  senior citizens in need of direct care. Second is the rapidly increasing  Latino population. The Latino community is the fastest growing  

population group in Georgia today.

Covenant CNA School provides onsite and offsite training

 to groups of 5 or more individuals. 


We  are passionate about making sure that each student leaves the classroom  feeling confident in the skills they gained. Our instructors are  certified through the American Heart Association (AHA) and have a strong  desire to provide the knowledge and skills to enhance your ability 

to prevent an emergency from becoming a tragedy.
